About Me
Hi! I'm Freya and I've been sharing English for over a decade! I am a TEFL certified, native English speaking teacher with several years of teaching experience, working with children, teenagers, and adults across all ability levels. Over the years, I've lived and worked in four European countries. Overall, I've taught students from Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. I pride myself on creating a fun and supportive classroom, where my students feel safe making mistakes and learning from them.
As a teacher, I use an immersive language experience to aid my students' communication fluency. I've been trained in the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology, which means I enjoy teaching English through relevant topics and subjects (sports, history, business, politics, etc.). I use coursebooks and my own materials to best suit my students' needs.
I love living in big cities, traveling the world, talking about sports and politics, reading for joy and knowledge, playing the flute, and spending time with my family!

Bachelor's Degree in Political Science & International Studies

I loved all of the history and international studies-minded courses I had to complete, but it was the semester I spent studying in France that kickstarted my journey towards living and working internationally!
Master's Degree in International Affairs

My journey into the realm of international studies allowed me to deepen my knowledge and critical thinking, and gain an understanding of what it means to live in an increasingly inter-connected global society.
